Food is the basis of life. We are what we eat.

Food is our energy source, and every part of our body needs it. Food contains various nutrients necessary for our bodies to grow, regenerate, and perform all other vital functions.
Scientists have classified nutrients in food into meaningful categories, such as proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals. All foods contain these nutrients in different proportions.
Of course, most of us have heard about these categories of nutrients, and we learned about them in elementary school. I forgot to mention water, which is also very important. You can read more about water and its role in the human body.

Here, I won't study and analyze each of the nutrient categories and provide advice on what and how much to eat. Additionally, I prefer not to write lengthy texts filled with various information, as this can be overwhelming and challenging to follow.
I have read about the various functions and contributions of each nutrient to the human body many times, and these facts are indeed interesting. However, reading and practicing how many nutrients to take daily is like trying to control when the sun will come out or the clouds will go away.

Maybe we should start counting how often we inhale and exhale air daily.
Life is too short to worry about everything!
I know only one crucial fact: a lack of nutrients increases the risk of various diseases, and macronutrient and micronutrient deficiencies can lead to death.
Researchers believe that humans can survive approximately three weeks without food and several days without water. Read in more detail about how long we can live without food.
Fitness Food Eating Intuition
If you're wondering how to lose weight, listen to your body and eat when you're hungry. Of course, you should also include physical activities in your life. By listening to our bodies, we can determine whether we are hungry, which means eating when we feel hungry. Studies suggest that eating several meals at the same time every day is beneficial.
It's challenging to balance two things: eating when we're hungry and maintaining a regular eating schedule. I found myself in the middle, and I really eat when I feel hungry, but I don't strictly stick to it at the same time. I try to make it around the same time. You should check out a fascinating article on eating intuition.
To conclude, food provides energy for daily physical activities, such as walking, running, and sports, as well as for all other daily tasks. It also protects us, repairs the body, and strengthens it to defend against disease.
The phrase "We are what we eat" is not a trite statement. Proper nutrition can control many diseases and conditions. Nature has taken care of everything; we must open our eyes and research.
More information about food will be provided in future posts, including some simple but healthy recipes!
