What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.― Buddha
The human mind or, more precisely, our consciousness is a mysterious thing. There are many theories about the mind and what its functions are. The greatest secret in humans is the mind, which is in the brain. The brain is the driver of everything that man can do. Composed of many nerve cells, the brain is a miracle of nature.
By examining the human brains of many people, they look the same. However, the minds are very different. The mind creates the character trait of an individual and that is how we distinguish people. With a physical examination, it is simply impossible to predict which brain belongs to which person, whether one brain belongs to a peaceful person or a person who is a madman or a murderer. Both brains are the same.
There are Also Many Phenomena Hidden in the Human Mind, But We Will Mention Only a Few
The phenomenon called Déjà vu has been the subject of much research for years and remains somewhat of a mystery. It is the feeling that we have already experienced a certain action in life or seen a situation, even though we know we have not. Most likely it has to do only with our memory. We have experienced something similar, but we cannot remember.
Psychological phenomenon the Pygmalion effect is when high expectations lead to better performance. When we expect to do something well, it happens.
Poor expectations lead to poor performance. Therefore people's expectations can affect reality, whether positive or negative.
The placebo effect is when the patient believes that certain drugs can help him (which are false and do not have any active substances), but they help him and later he feels improvement.
Very mysterious and interesting, isn't it?
How to Change Your Life?
By training the mind and our thoughts, we can feel more energetic, creative, and alive and all this makes us very special. As we train our body, training our mind is just as important. Just as we can be in good and bad shape with muscles, so it is with the mind. We can additionally work and improve the mind, as well as the muscles of the body through fitness.
Each time we learn something new, we form neural pathways called “plasticity” in the brain. Learning new things keeps the brain in great shape and changes your life. Keep that in your mind and do not forget to train it every day!
